I'm delighted to learn that you are going to visit me during the weeklong vacation. My parents will also be happy to see you again, and I'm sure you will enjoy every minute here.
I know you are fond of swimming. A river lies not far away from my home, and we can go swimming there. I think it would be very pleasant and refreshing to swim in such hot summer days. My parents have an air-conditioner installed in every room after learning your coming so that we can stay home watching TV, playing CDs or reading books comfortably. Two miles away from my home is a beautiful mountain and it is worth climbing. We can go there on foot. When we climb to the top of the mountain,we can have a wonderful bird-eye view of the whole village.
Just phone me before you set off. There is no need for you to take anything. I'll prepare everything for you.

I'm very pleased to know that you will have a weeklong holiday with us. I've been missing you since we last met. It will be nice to see you again. It's beautiful here now,with everything in full bloom! My family would like to join in welcoming you to Kunming.
As you know Kunming is a spring city with many scenic spots worth seeing.Among them are the Stone Forest displaying a wonder of the world, the West Hills with a magnificent view over Dianchi Lake. Kunming is also a big garden, offering an abundance of various flowers. The Exposition Garden is the most attractive one. Each year it appeals to millions of tourists from all over the country.
With all these places of interest to visit, I am sure you'll have a pleasant stay with us. If time permits, we may go fishing together. Well, what I'd like to remind you is that you may bring a sweater with you since Kunming is on the plateau, and it is rather cool in the evening. We hope nothing will prevent you from coming,as we are looking forward to your visit.
