The Day My Classmate Fell Ill

Last Monday,one of my dormmates, Sun Lin, ran a high fever, and felt aching all through the body. And he could not have anything and seemed to become more ill each day. We were so worried that we realized that something must be done to help Sun Lin out of his agony. We sent him to the university clinic and paid for the treatment and medication with money from our life maintenance.

The news quickly reached everybody in our class. At first, some students were afraid that they could be infected too. Fortunately,everyone thought that they should try their best to help him. Some teachers provided daily necessities and some students recorded the English class for him so that Sun Lin could keep up with his study.With everybody's care and help, Sun Lin soon was able to be up and about and come back to the class.

From this event,we all learned that our society is full of love,warmness and peace, in which people,whether man or woman, young or old, are always ready to do others a favor. Just like a famous song goes, "the world will turn into heaven only if everyone contributes a little" and I do believe that this proverb will live forever.

I have a classmate named Angel, who is a lovely and bright girl and popular with all the classmates.One day, it is said that Angel had got blood cancer, which really shocked everybody. When I saw her in the hospital, I could not help crying. She was so thin,so weak, and it seemed that only skin and bones were left. Her face was so pale. Even so, she gave us a big smile to comfort us.

We decided to save Angel's life.Her family was not very rich and could not afford the operation. All the classmates and teachers began to raise money in school to help her. Some called the media for help. In the end, we succeed in raising the money for the first operation. We will keep trying until Angel is cured.

Many people offered as much help as they could even though they did not know Angel. I am really touched by this so that I am convinced that there is love everywhere as long as we seek for it.
