    Nowadays, the problem of piracy has become more and more serious. Books, tapes, VCDs and other high-tech products almost all have been pirated. When a new product comes into market, very probably, its pirated counterpart will soon make its appearance in the market, too.
    Piracy has caused a great loss to the legitimate producers, inventors and writers, and made great confusion in the markets. Because the pirated products often cost much less than the genuine ones, they enjoy a pretty good selling in spite of their relatively poor quality. The genuine products, on the contrary, sell poorly. This happens especially to stone high-tech products, whose prices are often expensive. First, customers should develop their consciousness to resist the pirated products. Besides,government should take effective measures to stop piracy. Finally stronger laws must be strictly executed to completely ban piracy. Only in this way can we wipe out piracy.
