With the rapid development of economy in China, the majority of Chinese people now enjoy a higher income than ever before. This makes it possible for some of them to go abroad for a visit. However, according to a recent survey, a handful of Chinese tourists abroad have been blamed for their misbehaviors such as spitting, shouting and jumping the queue. This phenomenon, as far as I see it, can be ascribed to the following causes.

First, some of the tourists, though having a large sum of money, are not well educated. In the past two decades, some Chinese people have made a lot of money in their business. However, not all of them have received enough education to realize spitting, shouting and jumping the queue are uncivilized behaviors. Second, little attention has been paid to the proper behavior of tourists in the domestic tourist industry. In China, a customer is treated as a God if he has a large purchase to make. And it is no exception at all in tourism. A tourist can do almost all he likes if he has a deep pocket, and he is seldom criticized for his misbehavior.

In view of the above, some urgent measures should be taken to solve the problem. In the first place, some training programs should be offered to those who plan to visit overseas. In the second place, those who have been found behaving inappropriately during an overseas visit should be prohibited from going abroad for a visit. [249 words]
